- Second G.L. Sanghi Memorial Lecture on September 1, 2018
The Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur organized the ‘Second G.L. Sanghi Memorial Lecture’ on September 1, 2018 at Dr. Vasantrao Deshpande Hall, Civil Lines, Nagpur. The Memorial Lecture was delivered by Hon’ble Shri Justice, A.K. Sikri, Judge, Supreme Court of India on the Topic “Judiciary’s Relevance in a Democracy and Role of Law Schools in shaping it”. Hon’ble Shri Justice S.A. Bobde, Judge, Supreme Court of India and Chancellor of the University presided over the function. Hon’ble Shri Justice B.R. Gavai, Judge, Bombay High Court, Hon’ble Shri Justice B.P. Dharmadhikari, Judge, Bombay High Court Bench at Nagpur, Hon’ble Shri Justice Vipin Sanghi, Judge, Delhi High Court and Shri Mukul Rohatgi, Former Attorney General and Designated Senior Advocate were the Guest of Honour’s. The lecture was instituted by the family members of Late Shri G.L. Sanghi, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India.
