  • World Mental Health Day Celebrated at MNLU, Nagpur on October 10, 2020

Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur (MNLU, Nagpur) conducted a three-day virtual event on the occasion of World Mental Health i.e. October 10. The event included a Global Panel Discussion on ‘Mental Health Matters’ on October 9, National Poster Making Competition on October 10, followed by a Virtual Mental Health Camp on October 11. The events were planned to raise awareness regarding mental health issues around the world and mobilizing the efforts in support of Mental Health.

Sharon Gill and Russell Shempell from USA, Dr. Dipti Christian, and Mrs. Rowena Phillips from Nagpur, and Asst. Prof Dr. ManishaShukla from Indore were the panellist who discussed and provided insights on factors affecting Mental Health and tips on managing mental health effectively during these challenging times. The program was coordinated by the Mental Health Team of MNLU Nagpur, which is a student body that promotes Mental Health awareness in the Campus under the erudite guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Vijender Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of the University and University Psychologist Mrs. Rowena Phillips. Dr. RaginiKhubalkar introduced the panellists, while the panel discussion was moderated by GunjunBahety, PragyaAgarwal, and AnirudhChaturvedi. Participants from different parts of the world registered and attended the event.
